I've heard a few scotch drinkers refer to this as the best of the Glenmorangie standards. I can understand why, considering the port finish gives a nice richness to this bottle. I find the nose has a bit more bite to it than I'd like, similar to red wine and honey.
The taste on the tongue has nice fruit notes almost like a sangria with peach and red wine.
The finish is consistent with that same taste. This bottle is very smooth from start to finsh, with a good amount of complexity.
C: deep amber
N: biting red wine and honey
T: fruit, peach and red wine
F: consistent with taste
