In the top 3 bourbons I've ever tasted. This one has everything I love about bourbon, but with some complexity.
Ok, ok, I know I'm not supposed to be concerned so much with the packaging, but the bottle is so cool. I keep a stopper on my desk I like it so much. It makes bourbon seem much more elegant than the image Jack Daniels has given it.
The dark amber color is indicative of the deeply matured contents. The nose is deep with sweet fruit notes. It is warm on the tongue with more sweet (but not too much) and some complex sweet grains. But the finish is the true gem, with lingering warmth and caramel.
I don't usually drink bourbon, but if this bottle is handy I won't say "no".
